Muhammad Hamdan, MD
Dr. Hamdan received his Medical Degree from the School of Medicine Damascus University – Syria. He was in the medical research Master program at Wayne State University with a main focus on Malignant Hematology. He completed his residency program at Wayne State University with superior evaluation in both medical and professional evaluations. Dr. Hamdan completed his fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas with a main focus on isolation of metastatic gene in lung cancer. He is Board Certified in both Hematology and Oncology. Before joining the Sparrow Cancer Center, Dr. Hamden was the Associate Medical Director of the Great Lakes Cancer Institute from 1999 to 2006. He has several publications in various medical journals and has given several research presentations at ASH and ASCO.
