Cindy Evans is an artist so it was natural that when she was diagnosed with breast cancer she documented her cancer journey through her paintings.
She says Caregivers at the Sparrow Herbert-Herman Cancer Center were a big part of the final works of art, including a triumphant painting on her survival.
“The team at the Cancer Center was so positive and so helpful,” Evans says. “I feel like I received the best treatment.”
She calls the Nursing staff at the Cancer Center’s Infusion Center, where she received chemotherapy treatment, “awesome and so caring.”
“My future looks pretty good. So I call myself a survivor and that’s what I am.”
